Storage:

When stored in its original unopened packaging, the product has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. Evonik precipitated silicate products are extremely chemically stable. However, precipitated silicates, including this product, can absorb moisture and/or volatile organic compounds from the surrounding atmosphere. Therefore, we recommend storage in original sealed packaging and in a dry, cool place and removed from volatile organic substances. Even if a product is stored under these conditions, over periods of time the material may still pick up enough moisture to exceed the moisture content that is specified “as packaged” or at the time of packaging.

Product Description

DUROX® 17,5% is a specialty hydrogen peroxide grade that is imported by Dhaka Ventures, which is designed for use in the aseptic packaging industry as well as other sterilization applications in food processing. DUROX® 17,5% is an aqueous solution of highly purified, high-quality hydrogen peroxide. DUROX® 17,5% formulation is adapted to the spray method. In this process, H2O2 is sprayed through a nozzle into the preformed packaging material in order to sterilize it. Afterwards, the residual product is removed.

AOPACK® 35%

Product Description

AOPACK® 35% is a specialty hydrogen peroxide grade, which is designed for use in the aseptic packaging industry as well as other sterilization applications in food processing. AOPACK® 35% is based on the aqueous solutions of highly purified, high-quality hydrogen peroxide and is recommended by leading packaging machine manufacturers.

AOPACK® 35% exhibits excellent stability for applications requiring prolonged contact with stainless steel surfaces and high temperature environments. ASPERIX® 350 A&F

Product Description:

 To ensure the well-being of the animals, particularly in a land-based aquaculture facility, important water parameters such as pH, salinity, temperature, and oxygen saturation must be controlled and adjusted according to the requirements of the fish. Especially in recirculating aquaculture systems, high effort is needed to maintain the water quality at an acceptable level (e.g., biological and physical filters). Nevertheless, in most systems, an increase of chemical pollutants indicated by an increasing chemical oxygen demand (COD = the sum of all substances present in the water available for oxidation) can be observed over time. These pollutants originate in undigested feed, fish faeces, or other fish residues like skin or mucus, which remain and accumulate in the water despite extensive mechanical and biological filtration. ASPERIX® 350 A&F hydrogen peroxide helps to decrease the level of pollutants by oxidation to a stable minimum in the presence of the animals.

 For the treatment itself, the ASPERIX® 350 A&F hydrogen peroxide is dosed manually or automatically via pipes and pumps into the water loop of the aquaculture system, most preferably at locations where no fish are present, e.g., in a side stream, before the filtration systems or the protein skimmer. In water, the hydrogen peroxide oxidizes the pollutants, yielding smaller organic oxidation products (aldehydes, carboxylic acids, etc.), which can be more easily digested by the biological filters of the RAS, and eventually to CO2. Hydrogen peroxide also catalytically decomposes into oxygen and water only.
